Dr. Ghaffari is an experienced clinician with a diverse background. A passionate educator, Dr. Ruby Ghaffari is the Dean of Predoctoral Clinical Affair at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She received her DMD degree from Tufts University in 1992. Dr. Ghaffari has been in private practice for the past 25 years and developed two successful practices in Newton and Downtown Boston. In 2005, she moved to Dubai and joined a multi specialty dental and medical group concentrating on treating complex dental rehabilitation and with emphasis on advanced cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Ghaffari has been teaching as a faculty member in the department of Operative and prosthodontics, Division of Medicine. She was also the director of The Urgent Care Clinic and a mentor and adviser to many of the students. In 2014 Dr. Ghaffari lead a successful pilot program in the clinical teaching of the 3rd and 4th year dental students which was adapted throughout the dental school in 2015.
Dr. Ghaffari has been instrumental in providing grants and raise funds for many underserved population around Boston, Ryan white Grant, Domestic Violence Grant and LOTUS project. Dr. Ghaffari is a compassionate clinician towards the apprehensive patients and believes in lifelong learning and providing the best care to each and everyone of her patients.
Dr. Izedian is passionate about dentistry. Dr. Izedian’s philosophy is to help patients achieve a beautiful smile and improve their health by providing leading edge dentistry with a caring touch. Dr. Izedian grew up in Canada and received his Bachelor of Science at the University of Western Ontario. In 1992, he received his Doctoral of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He has been working in the Boston area ever since.
A believer in continuing to advance his art, Dr. Izedian attends courses at the prestigious Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, FL and LVI Global in Las Vegas, NV. He is also a leading dentist in the area for offering cutting edge laser dentistry services to patients.
Dr. Krochmal was born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia and received a B.S. in Conservation Biology from the University of Maryland College Park followed by his D.D.S. from The University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. Following graduation he completed a general practice residency at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Washington, DC. Dr. Krochmal is a member of the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society. In 2011 Dr. Krochmal moved from the Washington, DC area to Massachusetts with his wife, Melissa, daughters, Sasha and Isla and chocolate lab, Molly. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Krochmal is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending time with his family. Dr. Krochmal is committed to providing personalized and comprehensive dental care. His goal is to provide a full range of preventative and cosmetic options to help you achieve a healthier and more attractive smile. He regularly participtes in continuing education courses and is familiar with all of the latest advancements in dentistry.
Dr. Gonzalez graduated from the Boston University School of Dental Medicine Periodontology and Oral Biology Program in the year 2000, and completed his Masters degree in both subjects in 2003. He is a native of Caracas, Venezuela, and earned a dental degree in Venezuela in 1988. He was awarded his U.S. degree in dentistry from the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2007 and received the “Outstanding Achievement and Excellence in Patient Care and Practice Management” award from Dean Spencer Frankl. Dr. Gonzalez was named as one of the “40 under 40” by MVB Magazine. Dr. Gonzalez is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Boston University and holds faculty appointments from Tufts University School of Medicine, Lutheran Medical Center in NY, and Boston Medical Center. He has published multiple articles on immunization strategies against periodontal disease.
Dr. Zeim obtained his dental degree from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He also completed the Postdoctoral Endodontics Residency Program at Boston University. Currently, Dr. Zeim is an Assistant Professor of Endodontics and works in the Pre-doctoral Endodontics Clinic, Postdoctoral Endodontics Department, Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program and one day a week in the Faculty Practice of the Boston University Dental Health Center. He has been an associate at this practice since 2008.
Hector joined Dental Associates in 2016 and has become an integral member of the practice. With his warm and friendly personality Hector is well communicates the principles of the practice. Hector is a astute social media advocate and manages the practices social media presence.
Crystal joined Dental Associates in 2018 and has a vast experience in customer service and enjoys getting to know each patients. A great addition to our practice.
Jessica attended New England Assitant School and was an assistant for 5 years. She loved dentistry so much that she decided to go in to hygiene school. She graduated from CCRI in 2012.
Ally has worked in our practice for two years. She attended Porter and Chester Institute where she earned her degree in Dental Assistant and received a certificate of Radiology and is a Massachusetts Licensed Dental Assistant.
Carlos has worked in the dental field for may years.
